What is "TREE GRANDVILLE"?

TREE GRANDVILLE is sponsored by the City of Grandville and the the Grandville Community Tree Project serves the City by running an online store to make trees available for residents at a discounted price through a sponsorship from the city.

The City of Grandville will split costs (up to $3000 total) 50/50 with residents who are looking to purchase trees for their properties. 

When is the "Tree Grandville" spring tree sale held?

Trees will be available starting March 1st and the sale will continue until March 31st (or until the $3000 match is met).

When do I get my trees?

Residents will need to pick up their trees at Grandville City Hall on April 19th, 9-11am. 

How can I purchase trees?

Trees can be purchased through this website. For assistance or recommendations on ordering trees, please contact Kyla Bos: kyla@grandvilletreeproject.org 

Is there a limit of trees I can purchase? 

Thanks to the generosity of the sponsorship from the City of Grandville, we ask that you limit your purchase of trees.

Can I purchase trees if I live outside of Grandville? 

The sponsorship from the City of Grandville specifically states that funds must be used to add trees to properties within city boundaries. You must own property and pay taxes to the Grandville City. By purchasing trees on this sale you are agree to plant the purchased trees on property within the Grandville City Limits.

If the billing address does not meet the criteria of being within city limits, the order will be cancelled, refunded, and you will be charged a processing fee. ( If you are a property owner in the City of Grandville and your billing address is outside the City of Grandville please contact us so we can release your order)

What types of trees are available for purchase?

We offer a diverse selection of tree species carefully chosen to thrive in the Grandville area. These include shade trees, ornamental trees, fruit trees, and more. See the catalog page for detailed information about available species. You can request trees and we will my be able to accommodate your request, if the tree you request is available

Do I need to pre-order trees, or can I buy them on the day of the sale?

You must pre-order trees by March 31st and pick them up on April 19th at City Hall. No trees will be available for purchase at the pickup location.

How do I care for the trees once I've planted them?

Through Grandville Community Tree Project's Community Forester program, we provide comprehensive guidance on tree planting and care, including instructions for proper watering, pruning, and maintenance. Check our website for information on upcoming Forester events. https://www.grandvilletreeproject.org/events.html

Is there a warranty or guarantee on the trees purchased during the sale?

While we take great care to provide high-quality trees, we cannot offer a warranty or guarantee on their survival once they leave our care. However, we are committed to supporting homeowners throughout the planting process and are available to provide assistance and advice should any issues arise.
